Outlier, The Seventh

Thump thump         thump.

Thump thump         thump.

– How can you sound so far away? I wish I could feel you.

THUMP THUMP   THUMP. THUMP THUMP   THUMP.

– It doesn’t matter how loud you sound, or how fast you make the beat… The dance will always be the same.. It’s just odd how today, you seem to be miles away, in the bottom of a cave, and all I can hear is your echo.

When you wake up in the morning, and you feel like an outlier to your own body, where each organ has decided to take a vacation to another part of the world… Am I alone with this feeling? Or is this something that only happens to me, a quadriplegic writing by blinking and wishing I could feel the itch on my nose.
